Amsterdam Fashion Week DownTown

Amsterdam Fashion Week! The place where the fashion world comes together to celebrate the art that is FASHION. For the first time ever, I got the chance to experience this awesome event. Amsterdam celebrated its 10 year anniversary and organised 10 days downtown as a part of fashion week. These events were open to all. I attended two events which were, Fashionchick's "Bloggerscafe" and "God Created Fashion" held at Hutspot.

Bloggercafe was a great event to network with other bloggers and or fashion lovers. Lectures were also held by Monique van Loon , Anouk Yve, Yvonne Eijkenduijn. This event was great to hear about their success stories and meet new people. I was also stopped by ELLE.nl as seen in the photo above. All and all, it was a great night. Can't complain. One tip though.When attending these kind of events, go super early if you want a seat. Don't under estimate the hunger for knowledge when it comes to fashion.

God Created Fashion was a fashion show/shopping event. It was held at this awesome place called Hutspot. I will advise anyone to check them out if your in the Amsterdam area. B-E-A-Utiful retail store and more. The event was held upstairs, which I thought was a little small to hold all the fashion obsessed people. But I was still able to catch the fashion show and all the goodies that were on sale. I hope to attend more events next season, because I sure did have a ball !

Holiday Season Fun 2014

The holiday season is such a bucket of fun. I enjoyed spending time with my loved ones and counting down the New Year in London. I can't complain one bit. Everyone does different stuff during this season but this is how I like it. I ate my belly full on christmas and took advantage of the winter sale in London.

Talking about, SALE IN LONDON! I might just have stumbled on a new tradition. I am already in love with the place and now they might just make me save up all year round, just to spend ma money! It does get a little crazy around this time in London, but I think every where is like this, when it comes to the magic of the holiday season.

I hope you guys had a great New Years Eve and may your new year resolutions last as long as the little black dress trend. I have some more great stuff coming this year so get some popcorn and get ready for the show :)

The year has gone by so fast and it's that time of the year to look your best on that final day. You might just be going crazy and have no idea what to wear or what direction to go. Tis' the season and these are my top december/christmas items on my wish list. Christmas is my favourite holiday hands down. It's such a busy but yet happy and joyful time. I intend to make this a good one. Hope you guys are enjoying it so far. Just 2 more "sleeps" and it's on like popcorn !

Hey Humans! Sunday was filled with fun and laughter. I must say we are going into the christmas season head on. Last sunday my friends, boyfriend and I tried something new in the great city of Amsterdam. We went rollerskating. Now I am no total stranger to being on wheels, but my boyfriend on the other hand was a big joke! But entertaining either way. There is this awesome roller disco event that is held every Sunday at different location ( I think). But this time it was at club lite in Amsterdam. They do offer little workshops for the weak and fragile for a extra €5, so you don't have to be a pro when you attend. Check out their Facebook page to see when the next event will be Roller Disco . I would advise anyone to try this at least once. The people are super friendly and it's all and all a good old time.

We also ate at this all you can eat italian restaurant, which wasn't that bad. I would advise the pizza rather than the pasta :s .The restaurant is called "The View" and is located in the Magna Plaza.

And of course I filmed all of this craziness...

Vintage Per Kilo Tilburg

Hey Humans. Last weekend I attend the Vintage Per Kilo that was held in Tilburg. The concept of this event is to give shoppers access to vintage clothing for just €15 per kilo. One word to describe this. AWESOMENESS (if that is a word). To top this great experience. I also won 2 kilo on their online Facebook contest. Did they make my day or what!

I got some great pieces and will be attending the next event in Amsterdam. Check out their Facebook event page for more info on that >> vintage per kilo. Not convinced yet about this event. By the by. You must wash your vintage purchases! Remember some of them have been in storage. Especially the jackets. They are not ready to wear.

1. Dream job?

My dream job is to became a event manager. I want specialise in fashion events. I am currently working on getting my bachelor degree in international leisure management and will major in event management

2. If you could be an animal, what would you be?

I think I would be a black cat. I just love how mysterious they are and just don't gives a rats ass. ( No pun intended )

3. What's the best holiday you've ever been on?

My best holiday I ever been on recently was my trip to London. I am just in love with that place! I am actually going to be there again to celebrate New Years .

4. What is your favourite music genre?

I am a sucker for R&B. But I for any kind of genre where the artist is lyrically talented.

5. Favourite colour?

Hands down "Black". This colour just makes everything looks better

6. Fashion faux pas?

Oh exposed bra straps. That was such a normal thing for me back in the day, but now I can't stand to see other people doing it. I can make a whole list of things, but i'm trying to learn from my mistakes and move forward.I'm so ashamed .....

7. How would you describe your own style?

My style is mainly inspired by old hip hop 80's with a mixture of todays modern clothing.

8. New season fashion and/or beauty must-have?

I must have high waisted everything. Jeans, pants, skirts short. They are all welcome. My favourite beauty must have is the perfect colour lipstick to go with my awesome outfits. ( darker colour are preferred at the moment )

9. If you could pick six famous people to hang out with for the day, who would they be?

Don't really have a fashion idol. I mainly just stock everyone who rocks my style in some kind of way.

I try not to get attached to material things. I guess I would be upset if something would happen to my laptop because my world is very depended on it, but the i guess i would just have to work them midnight hours to buy a new one. So I haven't really came across anything that I own that would be categorised as my prized possession.
