How To Get Lovable, Kissable Lips

Everyone wants soft,beautiful, kissable lips. Your lips are an accessory to your smile. Having soft and beautiful lips also gives you a clean and smooth canvas to apply your lipstick or lip-gloss to. ( whatever tickles your fance)

They are different ways to keep your lips looking awesome. But did you know that the ingredients are all in your kitchen cabinet.

In my opinion the natural way is the healthy way. Why spend tons of dollars on something you can make yourself. Atleast this way you know exactly what’s in it.

Now you may be asking how do I make this lip smoothing concoction. Well it’s pretty easy. All you need is the following ingredients:

-1tps Brown sugar

-1tps Honey

-Lemon juice (1/2 lemon)

And mix well.

After your done mixing it up, you can apply it to your lips with your finger or with a toothbrush. Scrub your lips for about 2 minutes and then wash off with water. Because you just scrubbed off all the dead skin off your lips, it’s very important to apply lip bum after. You need to add the moisture back into your lips. You can also use olive oil or Vaseline to add back the moisture into your lips.

The great thing about this mix is that you can store it in little jars for about 2 weeks. So no worries if you made a little more than needed.

So get into that kitchen and start your journey to soft, smooth, beautiful lips!

Urban Outfitters New Location!

Say it aint true! One of my favorirte stores is coming to the Netherlands. The hipster, cool, edgy, and vintage clothing hotspot!.Urban Outfitters first openend it's doors in 1970 and has over 200 store locations. This is great and bad news.

Good news is that the first store will be opening in Amsterdam (kalverstraat). I will no longer have to go all the way to antwerpen or wait a week or two to receive my online purchases.

Bad news is, they are planning to open locations all over the Netherlands and when is comes to hot stores in the Netherlands, everybody and they momma will have on the same stuff and make it tabo.

According to Fashion United the store will be opening it's doors at the end of 2013. Don't you just hate when they dont give you an official date :(

I really do have mixed feeling about this new store opening in the Netherlands. But hey! life goes on.

Who Wears Short Shorts?!

The weather is finally getting better and that means I can finally show some real skin and break up with my winter jacket. (such a love hate relationship) The number one essential for spring/summer is a pair of cute shorts. It's easy, comfy and goes with everything! Can't get any better than that. My personal fav are high waisted shorts. But that's just me. If you don't already own a pair, which is kinda impossible. Go to your favorite store and stock up :).

Bye Bye Sephora ??

Sephora is currently having a huge sale. I just had to get my hands on this €5 sale. Which is normally €10. Why is this you ask. Well sephora will no longer be located in the Netherlands. One of the workers at sephora told me this after asking for a certain product that was out of stock. She just basically said get what you can get now because you wouldn't be able to get these products anymore after they are sold out. They won't be restocked!

Sephora will be available in other countries in Europe, but unfortunately not in the Netherlands :( . All the Sephora's in the Netherlands will be replaced by a ICI Paris.

I'm not sure when the switch will happen, but hopefully they have a change of mind and heart and decide to keep Sephora here in the Netherlands.

What are your thoughts about sephora leaving. Were you a fan or are you screaming hallelujah the witch is dead!

BB Creams & Black Girls

BB Cream. Just a Hype ??

BB Cream should be a real money saver right? BB creams are suppose to replace all of those extra products you use when using a basic foundation. It's a all-in-one facial product. It's a moisturizer, primer, foundation and even a sunblock. Great right! But why is it so hard to find your color here in the Netherlands?.......

I have been trying to find the right one so i can really give my thumbs up or thumbs down on the product. But lordie why can't I find " black people" colors. Do they not think that we would enjoy this product.Or maybe they think that we wouldn't enjoy the benefits that this product has. Whatever the reason may be, I for one would really like to get the chance to try this product.

Well i guess i'll just have to stick with my regular foundation that i had to look under a rock to find the right color until i can give my 2 cents about this BB Cream hype.

Fashion Party / Mode Feestje

Soooo this past weekend was a busy for me. But hey that's the life i choose. Friday I attended The "Mode Feestje" event in Rotterdam. The party gave you to opportunity to get your hands on the latest trends. So it was kinda of a outlet party. The Netherlands is not known for the greatest fashion shop, so this event was was organised to give you the chance to get stuff that you can't find in the stores here in The Netherlands.

It was a nice event. Not really what i expected but it had a cool vibe to it. The people who attended seem to have really enjoyed it. I expected a bigger crowd but I think it was meant to be exclusive. Well so i hope. It wasnt jammed packed but about a hand full of people was there.

Before you had the chance to jump at the racks of clothing. We were entertained by a fashion show of the clothing that were being sold. They really had some hot items on the catwalk. Thumbs up for the fashion show,

Oh and ofcourse the event was opened by the dutch girl group named Sway. And they can surely sing their asses off.

Fringe Kimono Litas

Spring season is festival season and i love the hippie/bohemian look. In my opinion this trend will never die.

Fringe Kimono are a must have for the spring season. They are the perfect balance for that in between hot and cold weather. We surely do get that alot in The Netherlands .

Jeffrey Campbell Litas are another must have. But they might be a little pricey for some. No worries you can find lots of Jeffrey Campbell inspired Litas all over the world wide web and in a store near you.

Another perfect Spring/Summer essential is "The Backpack". Oh how i love backpacks! They are so easy. I doubt i'm the only one who gets annoyed having a million things in my hands while at a festival our hanging with friends.

Your outfit is never complete without a pair of fabulous sunglasses. Big oversized glasses are every where. And I am in love with them. Find the perfect pair that suits you.

This hippie/bohemian trend can be worn so many different ways. Reason why i couldn't just post one outfit. I will absolutely be wearing this trend from spring right into summer. As soon as the weather stops being
